YOUR BRIEF:
To maximise revenue within the conference, training & events segment for Chesford Grange. This position is for Maternity Cover and is expected to last for 6 months but may lead to a permanent position.
AS AN EVENT SALES MANAGER YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
* Positively approaching all sales opportunities for the conference market and for all training series, yielding the business to achieve the sales plan and revenue targets.
*The Weddings/Banquets & Special event market segments at the hotel, giving opportunities to the sales team in yielding the business to achieve the sales plan and revenue targets across the budget
*Generating & maintaining Clubs & Association sales plus Masonic business placed.
* Host and organise regular Fam trips and Group hospitality events as required liaising with the DOS at all times as well as carrying out a minimum of 12 sales appointments each week
* Identify sales opportunities for the Heart of England and use lead referrals to maximise potential business
